Description
xThis Japanese Sencha tea is produced in the famous Shizuoka region near Mount Fuji. Its bright green flat leaves are hand-picked early in the growing season and then steamed and oven-fried to halt oxidation. Due to this tea’s fresh and clean taste, it is often called “the white wine of teas”.
Traditionally served in small cups, Japanese Sencha Green tea should be sipped slowly and savoured. Containing less caffeine than traditional black teas, green teas are also high in healthy antioxidants.

STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS: steep at 160 - 170°F water temperature for 1-2 minutes
